Since our opening in 1987, we have been making sure to offer our clients the best of Moroccan Hospitality.
Our story began with a Moroccan restaurant in Guéliz, downtown Marrakech – the original idea for this restaurant came from Mohammed Chab (our father, a professional hotelier) and our late mother, Fatima Chab who joined the idea to launch the concept of employing only women and training them in both cooking and service. 30 years ago it was a first in Morocco!
Making every customer feel at home is more than just a promise, it’s our motto.
It was therefore natural to maintain this tradition by bringing the intimacy, warmth and family atmosphere that a riad can offer.
Each of our mosaics has been shaped and sculpted by hand. Each of the plants in our lush garden has been carefully selected. Al Fassia is a riad where authenticity meets harmony with the sole aim of subduing your spirit.
