“To understand us we must go back to the time of our parents, 30 years ago. In a completely different Morocco, with a slightly crazy idea:
To launch the first Moroccan restaurant to employ only women. Our father Mohammed Chab, with the precious help of our late mother lalla Fatima, promised to turn the idea into reality. And so began the story of AL FASSIA with the first Moroccan restaurant located in the center of Marrakech.
A charming hotel, two restaurants and a thousand memories later no doubt that this idea was a success and that it still continues to make people dream. In addition to AL FASSIA, our family has also grown. Although our mother is no longer working in the kitchen, we have taken over the reins of this very special house, adding a touch of modernity while preserving the know-how and values of our parents. Authenticity and calm are still there, as are our customers, full-fledged members of this family, without whom this idea would have remained just words in the wind.
